What is Sunday Funday ?
It is a 5k festival and festival in Downtown Gilbert. Who doesn't want to Run Hard to Brunch Hard? Enjoy a fun run along the powerline trail and then hit the finish line for a fun brunch festival with music, loaded Mimosas, Bloody Mary Cocktails, Whiskey, Vodka and more. The 5k is a fun run, that you can run, walk, slide, glide or skip. Strollers, wagons and dogs are welcome.
Do I have to go to both the 5k run and festival?
No, you just want to run, great register for the fun run. Running isn't your thing? We will see you between 9am-2pm just north of Barrio Queen In Downtown Gilbert. Festival Only Packages available. Group discounts online. Tickets
When, where and what time do you need to arrive?
The race portion starts at 8am. Set up will be on the west side of Gilbert Rd.
The festival begins directly after the race or at 9am for those not planning to run. 102 W. Vaughn Ave is the parking garage address.. The festival and race is just north of that in the grass area along the powerline trail. See map on race info page.
Running shoes, flip flops, whatever makes your Sunday a Funday. A closed water bottle, small purse or bag, flip flops, your ID and ticket. No outside food or beverage, no backpacks, weapons, chairs or large umbrellas. All camelpacks and water bottles can be checked at the front entrance of the festival.
Downtown Gilbert's parking garage or street parking. The parking garage is located right at the event site. There is a large parking lot just north of the festival within about 10 feet.
Yes, enjoy the race, the race and festival or just the festival. We have several packages. The festival is just $5 admission at the door. Race packages start at $30. Details on our ticket page.
Yes, but only those over 21 will be able to partake in the loaded mimosas and bloody marys.
It does not. Our festival VIP package includes one drink and is available for a limited time. It includes a loaded mimosa featuring two bottles of mini champagne.
